About the P-38J Lightning

Due to its unique configuration, the P-38 Lightning was well-known by its nickname of ¡Ètwin-booms Devil¡É. The P-38 was one of the unique fighter aircraft of WWII, developed for the United States Army Air Force. The P-38 had distinctive twin booms and a central nacelle containing the cockpit and armament.
The first mass production of P-38 was started from 1942, and many modifications were made to comply with the needs of the air services. P-38J was the ultimate version with great speed, power, manueuverability and reliability.

About the Kit

This is an unpainted assembly plastic model kit for P-38J Lightning ¡È8th Air Force¡É in 1/72 scale.
- Glue and paint are not included.
- One P-38J Lightning complete model kit with Dragon Model made parts.
- The parts for the weight attached in the nose and auxiliary spurs for wing assembly are made of white metal.
- Aircraft keeping stand is printed on the back of the box for the convenience of storage and during modelling.
