About the Aircraft

The F-15J Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather air superiority fighter used by Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) since 1982.
In 1976, the 303rd squadron was newly organized at the Komatsu Airbase. The F-15J was deployed to replace the F-4EJ from 1987. The Dragon of the unit mark is a motif of a dragon inhabiting mountain Hakusan in the local of Komatsu base, according to legend.
The F-15J Eagle was equipped with the original tactical electronic warfare system, J/TEWS, and its own data link systems. Since F-15J was deployed from 1982, it has been playing the main force even today in protecting the sky above Southwestern Japan.
The F-15J normally wears air-superiority camouflage but adds some special markings for combat practice and airbase airshows. In the Airshow 2018 at Komatsu Airbase, one aircraft of the 303rd Squadron and one aircraft of the 306th Squadron were painted in special markings and gave demonstration flight, and attracted many spectators.

This is a plastic model assembly kit for JASDF F-15J EAGLE with special marking in 1/72 scale.

-Parts including engine nozzle are reproduced in detail.
-Great impact of the scale pattern marking on the right and left side of cockpit, vertical tail, and drop tank under the main wing are reproduced in huge decal sheet.
