About the Aircraft

The F-15J Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather air superiority fighter in use by Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) since 1982.
The F-15J wears normally air-superiority camouflage, but adds some special markings for the combat practice and airbase festival.
The 304th Fighter Squadron at Naha Air Base, Okinawa, is the one which has kept standing in the forefront since its founding.
Converting to F-15Js in 1990, they keep their eyes on the sky above the Southwestern Japan.
For the 40th anniversary in 2017, a memorial marking appeared with largely painted the squadron symbol "Tengu" on their F-15Js.
And in December of the same year, their exhibition flight attracted so many spectators in "Churashima Air Festal 2017" at Naha Air Base.

About the Kit

This is an unpainted assembly plastic model kit for 1/72 scale.
Glue and paint is not included.
The Base kit is Platz latest F-15J Eagle kit with a high reproduction of shape and detailed parts.
Highly accurate and realistic outline to details are based on the research of the real aircraft.
The gigantic special marking "Tengu" graphic in silk-screen printing decals are printed by Cartograf with high quality and fine colors.
The right separating large graphic in multiple decals are easy to apply.
The finish is about 276mm in length, and about 183mm in width.
