About model

The F-4EJ Phantom has been the main fighter aircraft of the JASDF for more than 40 years. 140 F-4EJ Phantom were deployed from 1971. The JASDF upgraded 90 F-4EJ Phantoms and named F-4EJ KAI in 1980s. The F-4EJ KAIs were deployed to the 306th sq of the JASDF in 1989, the 301st and 302nd sqs started using it as their main aircraft.
