MU-2S is JASDF search-and-rescure aircraft. The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries designed this MU-2S for JASDF. The MU-2S is a variant of MU-2 and 29 MU-2S aircrafts were delivered to JASDF from 1967 to 1987. One or two MU-2S aircrafts were delivered to each JASDF Air Rescue Squadrpn and had successfully operated.
