About the Car

The MP4/2B was launched by McLaren in 1985 for the F1 championship. With a solid chassis design by John Barnard and the power of a TAG Porsche V6 twin-turbo engine, the McLaren MP4/2B dominated the season. Alain Prost, who recorded five wins that year, won his first F1 World Drivers' Champions.
