About the Car

The 1985 DTM champion was won by the Volvo 240 Turbo driven by Per Stureson. The Volvo 240 Turbo was equipped with a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder OHC2141cc engine that generated 340 horsepower. In combination with a lightweight body of 1035 kg, the Volvo 240 demonstrated a great run that kept rivals at bay. The boxing style had earned it the nickname ¡ÈFlying Brick¡É by fans. At the 1985 DTM, Stureson won one victory and five podium finishes and successfully won the drivers' champion.
