About the Aircraft

The F-1 of the Air Self-Defense Force is the first support fighter originally developed by Japan after the war. Developed based on Japan's first supersonic advanced training machine T-2, the F-1 started deployment from 1977 and was active for 29 years until 2006. The camouflage painting with dark/light green and light brown was for its main mission of ground-attack and anti-ship attack. To celebrate JASDF 50th anniversary in 2004, the F-1 belonging to the 6th Squadron was painted in the basic blue color with light blue wings, and fascinated many fans.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the support fighter F-1.
¢£Reproduces the sharp form unique to Japan's first supersonic aircraft F-1 with a total length of about 192 mm.
¢£Marking is the F-1 belonging to the 6th Squadron with the special marking of JASDF 50th anniversary in 2004.
¢£The weapon parts unique to support fighters such as domestic anti-ship missile ASM-1 are also made into parts.
¢£Special markings such as light blue wings and the 50th-anniversary logo are reproduced with large decals made by the Cartograf with high quality.
