    About Model

    The Kawanishi N1K Kyōfū (“strong wind”) is an Imperial Japanese Navy floatplane fighter.

    The Kawanishi N1K-J Shiden (“Violet Lightning”, Allied reporting name "George") was a land-based version of the N1K.

    The Shiden Kai, the variants of Shiden, possessed heavy armament as well as surprisingly good maneuverability.

    The early version was characterized by a large tail.

    The models are 1/144 scale plastic mode kits with broad vertical tail tooling.
